The long time NBA sideline reporter for Turner Sports was diagnosed in 2013 with leukemia. Best know for his role on Turner Sports' NBA coverage as a sideline reporter who rarely wore the same colorful outfit twice. Sager was an Illinois native and studied at Northwestern University. He leaves behind his wife Stacy and five children.The

  We look back at the highlights of his past year because Sager's ability to continue working was important to him during his diagnosis. His daughter Kacy even responded on to Tweet on why he spent so much of his last months on the NBA sidelines. As Sager said, "time is simply how you live your life." He made sure to make ever moment he had count.
